Naked Apartments Unveils Showings on Demand

Naked Apartments, New York City’s largest apartment rental website, has launched Showings on Demand, a first-of-its-kind scheduling application that helps renters view apartments in-person, faster.

Naked Apartments CEO, Joe Charat said, “Showings on Demand solves a major problem in renting “ the time it takes to see an apartment. This matters because in NYC, the best apartments rent within hours, and wasting time with the back-and-forth of scheduling a showing can make the difference in landing a cant-miss apartment. This new product leverages Naked Apartments massive network of agents and landlords to give our renters a competitive edge. And agents and landlords use Showings on Demand to fill their downtime and get better quality leads. It takes advantage of underutilized capacity in the form of agents time.”

Naked Apartments built Showings on Demand to help renters get the apartments they have been missing out on. The typical rental apartment in NYC stays on the markets for only 2 days and the best apartments are off the market in less than 24 hours. With Showings on Demand, Naked Apartments renters request to see an apartment immediately and Naked Apartments reaches out to its network of over 3,000 agents/landlords to find one that can show it, connecting the renter and the agent through mobile technology. Renters are provided directions, an estimate of the commute time to the showing, and an overview of the agent.

The technology is now available for over a thousand listings, and the company will continue to roll out Showings on Demand to all other listings. A mobile application with full GPS tracking of agents locations is in development.
