Doug Wright, CCIM, serves as an advisor for SVN | Ascension Commercial Realty specializing in the sale of multifamily, investment properties and land. Utilizing both his Ohio and Michigan licenses, he provides a regional approach to portfolio building and management.

Wright has assisted national public companies, regional investment groups, and local private investors in solving their real estate needs, approaching each assignment with the same degree of professionalism and attention to detail regardless of investor status to creatively solve problems and create opportunities for clientele.

As an involved commercial real estate advisor, Wright is an active member of the Northwest Ohio Realtors Association (FKA the Toledo Board of Realtors), Ohio Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors and holds the coveted Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation of the CCIM Institute. Wright currently serves as a board member of Neighborhood Properties Inc., a non-profit permanent housing & supportive services organization, has served on the TBR Governmental & Legislative Committee, Professional Standards Committee, the City of Toledo’s Business Advisory Council and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Resources Advisory Council.

In 2006, Wright served as president of the TBR. He also served the TBR as a member of the board of directors, past chairman of the Finance Committee and the Commercial Industrial Committee, past co-chairman of the Growth Strategies Council of the Toledo Metropolitan Council of Governments (TMACOG) as well as a past member of the Executive Committee of TMACOG. In addition, Wright served as a board member of the Property Rights Coalition and was named the 2007 Realtor of the year by the Toledo Board of Realtors.

In his spare time Wright studies, practices and trains in mixed martial arts and serves as a board member of Martial Artists for the Advancement of Mindfulness (MAAM) a non-profit organization providing martial arts tuition assistance to those who are not able to afford it.

Wright earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan.
