About Christine

The greater Puget Sound is a place I have called home my entire life, having lived in cities such as Seattle, Bellevue, Federal Way, Issaquah, and Kirkland.  I currently live in West Seattle with my husband and two young children, enjoying the conveniences of city living and also taking advantage of the suburban amenities being just far enough away from the bustle of downtown. 

Prior to joining John L. Scott, I spent over a decade leading teams and working collaboratively with highly regulated public companies managing risks and maintaining integrity of financial data.  Empathizing with clients, paying special attention to detail, and being an astute listener were critically valuable skills I acquired and refined over the years – skills I have implemented into other aspects of my life.   I stepped away from this path when I was afforded the opportunity to not only be more present for my children, but also to consider the endless possibilities on what to do next – on my own terms. 

Some people may have noticed that my office in Mukilteo is quite the drive north from West Seattle.  Why not just work with the office just 3 minutes away from home?  This relates back to one of the primary reasons my interest in real estate manifested into a career path – people matter.  Those outside of the profession may not always recognize that a real estate broker autonomously runs their own business under the supervision and name brand of a real estate brokerage.  The leadership and caliber of brokers working in the Mukilteo office, as well as the training programs and attention to broker achievement at John L. Scott, were unmatched during my interview process in choosing the right office to start my new business. 

Aside from monitoring the market for years for personal enrichment, having the opportunity to work with clients again is what drew me to becoming licensed in real estate.  Listening to clients’ needs, interacting with people, and building rapport were some of the most enjoyable aspects in my previous career – something I look forward to doing again as I build my business in real estate.  My goal is to take my clients through a wonderful experience in what really is an intimate and personal accomplishment.   

With the long epistle narrative above, I thank you for making it this far down the page!  Really, in summary, I like working with people.  I like delivering on my promises and have confidence that I can back up what I say.  I love learning about real estate and reading up on hot topic questions people love to ask in conversation.  I’m a student of the industry!
