Tenant Sues Landlord After Falling From Roof
A Galveston, Texas tenant is suing his landlord after falling off the roof of his apartment building.
In a news report, the man says he has sustained serious injuries after tumbling two stories down from a rooftop terrace when the chair he was sitting in broke.
The builder also has been named in the lawsuit.
The man claims his injuries would have been prevented if the terrace had proper railings or other safeguards against falls.
The man has requested a jury trial, and is asking for an unspecified amount of damages.
