A landlord in San Francisco reports that her tenants, a group of exchange students, left her rental property in shambles before returning home to Ireland.
The landlord told reporters that she had offered the students a break on rent because she was trying to be nice. She collected a security deposit, but says it doesn’t begin to cover the damage.
It appears that the students swung from a chandelier, toppling it to the ground. A wall was broken out, and used condoms and dirty underwear littered the floor, according to the report.
Reporters contacted the Irish Consulate, which said every effort will be made to rectify the landlord’s losses. The students may be prohibited from ever returning to the U.S., according to the report.
