Landlord Quick Tip

Tip #46: Promises, Promises

Don’t make promises to your prospects about the neighbors or neighborhood — things like “Are the neighbors nice?”, “Is the traffic loud?”, and “How bright are the street lights?” What’s tolerable for you may be a nuisance to them, and vice versa.

Instead of answering subjective questions, allow them reasonable access to find out for themselves, and you’ll avoid any claims they may make later to try to break the lease.
