Landlord Quick Tip

Tip #34: Choosing the Right Tenant, for the Right Reason
You always want to choose the best applicant to rent to, but what does that mean?

Waiting in lineBut a really good tenant — the one that will stay and take care of the property, is the one that is there for the right reason. Choose an applicant that has something to gain from renting your particular property — a job nearby, kids in the neighborhood schools, relatives in the area, or someone who can’t live without your special amenities.
Set your tenant-picking priorities before you list your property, so your rental ad will include those things that attract the right applicants.
